Creative. Proficient. Just ask my mum.
Who is Kati Skelton?
I’m a UX Designer, Creative Coach, children’s yoga teacher, and educational consultant — driven by a deep curiosity for people and what moves them. I am an urban lover and a person who likes to be inspired by the people I meet and the conversations we have.
Have you always been an arty type?
Creativity has always been at the heart of what I do. I’ve always been a visual thinker and loved expressing ideas through drawing, painting and creating things with my hands. Studying Information Design gave this creative instinct a new direction and opened the door to combining creativity with structured problem-solving.
Today, I bring this approach into my work by designing and facilitating creative workshops where people explore ideas visually and collaboratively. I’m also trained as a Creative Coach, and I enjoy helping individuals and teams unlock new perspectives through creative expression.
Using methods like Design Thinking, I guide people through processes that turn complex questions into tangible ideas and solutions. For me, creativity is not just about aesthetics — it’s a powerful way to understand problems, connect people and discover new possibilities.
What kind of design do you make?
As a full-stack designer, I enjoy exploring ideas and shaping them into clear, intuitive concepts. A big part of my work is also reviewing and improving existing digital products through UX audits — identifying friction points, understanding user needs and translating insights into practical improvements.
What truly drives me is creating products that have meaning — designs that not only work well but also spark joy and make a positive impact.
And what else?
When I’m not designing, I’m exploring. I love dancing, personal growth, and stepping out of my comfort zone. I seek inspiration in art, theatre, urban art and nature. Above all, I enjoy connecting with people in genuine, meaningful ways.
